My husbands truck broke down. Now we will have only one car. It would not be such a big deal except that my husband is a truck driver, so most nights he is not home until late and sometimes it can be very late. His truck yard is about a 25 min drive from home. So I will be waking up our son getting him into his warm clothes (we live in Wisconsin) making the drive to pick up my husband, then back home and get him back to bed. This will be our life until we have money to get it fixed. It's the fuel pump. One of the mechanics at my husbands yard says he will fix it for half what a shop would cost. That's still around $300. Considering we were not able to make rent in Feb...I just dont see how we can make it happen. I will be praying, and keep my faith that God will provide.
Maybe you can find a helping hand at CharityCars.org. They help with repairs as well as donated cars, trucks, etc., for people in need. I do understand how you feel. ComputerGirl
